3DS Price Cut and Ambassador Scheme

Today, Nintendo have had a worldwide price cut to their latest system, the Nintendo 3DS. It comes only 5 months after the 3DS was released.


The reason for the price cut is to "accelerate its market penetration toward the year-end sales season" Satoru Iwata has said.


People who've had the 3DS since the early days, or the 3DS Ambassadors, are being compensated with 20 free games: 10 NES classics and 10 GBA classics. However, they can only get onto the list if they've connected to the eShop before August 11th.
