3DS Sales Surge after Price Cut

Last Friday, as I said, Nintendo had a world wide cut in the trade price of the 3DS. Weekly Japanese tracking entity Media Create reports the 3DS sold almost 215,000 units in the last week alone.

The sales figures from the past week are the highest since launch week, when Nintendo sold over 350,000 units.

Before the cut, the 3DS was struggling to reach 50,000 sales a week, and just before the cut date sales dropped to 14,000 or lower.
